Samsung's pitch is the connected home: if your lights, TV and doorbell already speak SmartThings, the air conditioner joining them is genuinely convenient rather than a gimmick.
The WindFree feature is the other honest differentiator. The indoor unit diffuses air through thousands of micro-holes instead of a directed cold stream, which people who hate sleeping in a draught notice and like.
Typical installed price for a bedroom split is around $1,700 to $2,400 in 2026, and Samsung discounts hard through retail channels, so the sticker moves more than most.
The consideration is the same as LG: the trade prefers brands with thick local service networks, and Samsung warranty runs through the national consumer system. Fine in the capitals, worth checking in the regions.
