ActronAir is the Australian one. Family-founded in Sydney in the 1980s, engineering and much of the manufacturing still here, and systems rated for the kind of January where imports start derating.
The reason to care is ducted. ActronAir's zoning technology can run individual rooms off one system with real temperature control per zone, which is the difference between cooling the house and paying to cool the hallway.
Their systems are rated to keep delivering in extreme ambient temperatures — the marketing number is well past 45 degrees — which is not an abstract spec in Western Sydney, Perth or inland Queensland.
Pricing is premium. A typical zoned ducted system for a suburban home lands in the same conversation as Daikin, often $9,000 to $18,000 installed depending on zones and roof access. Splits exist but the value story is thinner there.

Ducted is ActronAir's home ground, so this is the table that matters. The company describes itself as Australian owned and operated since 1984. It says its Advance ducted range, its NEO and L-Series controllers and its commercial ducted units are designed and built in Australia.

ActronAir split systems and multi-split
ActronAir sells one wall-mounted range, the Serene. It comes in single-phase sizes from 2.65 to 9.0 kW and is rated to run from minus 15 to 50 degrees outside. Listed features include an ECO+ mode, a proximity sensor, a 20-minute Boost mode, Sleep mode, self-clean and built-in Wi-Fi. It is a capable split. The honest point stands, though: if you only want one bedroom unit, the Japanese brands have deeper split ranges and more installers who carry them.
For several rooms without full ducting, the Multi-Elite runs 2 to 5 indoor units from one outdoor unit (5.0 to 13.5 kW), with bulkhead, Serene high-wall or mini-cassette heads. Two-head multi systems typically cost $4,500 to $7,500 installed.
ActronAir controllers and error codes
ActronAir owners mostly deal with a wall controller rather than a handheld remote. The current controllers are the NEO range (with the NEO Connect app and per-room zone sensors), the L-Series LR7 (up to 8 zones and a 7-day timer) and the Easy Connect app for Serene and Multi-Elite. Older homes may still have QUE or ESP-era controllers. The mode symbols follow the usual pattern, explained in our modes and symbols guide.
On ducted systems, faults appear as a code on the wall controller. The LR7 manual says the system displays the relevant fault code there, and the FILTER lamp flashes when the return-air filter needs cleaning. ActronAir publishes an error-code FAQ hub by controller.

Pressure faults usually need a licensed refrigeration technician. A flashing FILTER lamp is a job you can do yourself: clean the return-air filter and reset the reminder.

ActronAir warranty and service in Australia
ActronAir's current warranty terms give residential products 5 years parts and 5 years labour. The table covers the ducted, wall-hung, multi-head, bulkhead and Mini-VRF systems between 2 and 25 kW. There is no extended warranty option on residential. Cover starts at commissioning, or 12 months after purchase if commissioning is later.
Read the conditions, because they are firmer than some brands'. The system must be installed and serviced by licensed people and maintained by a licensed person every 12 months, and the warranty card asks you to register within 14 days. Zone barrels get the full 5 years only when bought with a new ActronAir system. Build the annual service into your running cost, and ask the installer to register the system on the day it is commissioned.
