A typical LG bedroom split installs around $1,600 to $2,200 in 2026 on a standard install. Like-for-like it usually quotes under Fujitsu and beside Panasonic.
The design point is real: LG's low-profile and gallery-style indoor units are the ones people choose when the wall unit will be stared at in a renovated living room.

LG split system range guide for 2026
LG's current Australian split line-up is simpler than its old one. The residential split brochure (November 2025) lists two DUALCOOL AI Air ranges and a high-efficiency large-capacity unit.

LG ducted and multi-split systems
LG's ducted catalogue covers ceiling-concealed ducted units in low, mid and high static, plus a high-static splittable model and ceiling cassettes, running from about 2.5 to 20 kW. Zoning needs one of LG's zone controllers, and ThinQ app control works across the range. LG gives its ducted systems 5 years parts and labour. LG's multi-split runs up to five indoor units from one outdoor unit. A two-head system typically costs $4,500 to $7,500 installed, and a four-head $8,000 to $12,000.
LG air conditioner remote and error codes
The LG remote uses the standard mode icons (our modes and symbols guide explains them), plus a few LG names. Jet Cool and Jet Heat run at full output for a fast change. Energy Manager caps power use. Sleep Timer+ eases the temperature overnight. Freeze Cleaning and Auto Clean dry and clean the indoor coil.
LG shows faults in one of three ways. On units with a display panel, "CH" alternates with a number every half second: CH05, for example, is LG's code for a communication failure between the indoor and outdoor units. On units without a display, the code is a count of LED blinks, with the first LED giving the ones digit and the second the tens. The ThinQ app also reads faults through its Smart Diagnosis menu.

A CH61 can be as simple as a blocked outdoor unit, so clear anything stacked around it. Low refrigerant and electrical codes need a licensed technician.

LG warranty and service in Australia
LG's warranty terms give high-wall splits 5 years parts and labour, plus a further 5 years limited warranty on the compressor. That second five years covers compressor parts only, not labour or refrigerant, so "10-year compressor warranty" in the marketing is looser than the fine print. Ducted, cassette and multi-split get 5 years parts and labour. The warranty is for residential use by the original purchaser and excludes faulty installation.
LG handles warranty through its national service system, with the Australian office in Eastern Creek, Sydney. That is the trade's hesitancy in a sentence.
