The NSW Energy Savings Scheme can take a few hundred off a high-efficiency reverse cycle.
New South Wales has the Energy Savings Scheme. It is real. It is not Victoria. Most household reverse cycle jobs see $150 to $800 off if the installer is accredited and the unit is efficient enough.
The bigger saving in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong is still the gap between two quotes. We have seen $3,000 between two ducted prices on the same brick veneer.
Ask for the ESS discount as a line item. If it is 'included somewhere', it is not included.
